If you own a website that is not a commercial website and you are not engaged in selling goods and services or your website represents a Chamber of Commerce or not-for-profit entity you may apply for our special non-commercial trust mark. (Exclusions may apply if your website is a site devoted to advertising or is a feeder or mico-site redirecting traffic to a commercial website)

There is a one-time renewable annual fee of just $12.00 to proudly display the Hosted in the U.S.A. logo on your non-commercial website. In order for you to use this version of our trust mark you must also be in full compliance with the usage polices and terms of use of your host or any third-party web portal that may be hosting your blog or personal website.

If you are a not-for-profit, charitable organization or Chamber of Commerce you must email us with a copy of your bylaws prior to applying for the trust mark. You may do so by sending a copy of your bylaws to info@hostedintheusa.com along with a request to apply for the non-commercial version of the trust mark.

Exclusions and special circumstances

The non-commercial version of the trust mark MAY NOT be used on websites intended for generating advertising revenue, re-directing traffic to a commercial website or on a feeder or micro-site acting as an alternate landing page for the purpose of directing traffic to any site buying or selling any product or service. All websites using the non-commercial version of the trust mark are frequently and manually checked to ensure full compliance of this stipulation. If any website is found in violation of these terms their account will be permanently terminated with no refund. This is non-negotiable. If a non-commercial users wishes to upgrade their service to the commercial version they may do so at anytime though their profile.
